Should You Invest in HDF Stocks?

It may not be time to start purchasing Heart Disease Focused (HDF) stocks, but it is definitely time to start researching them!  Why?  There may be an opportunity to capitalize on the “Incongruity between reality and the assumptions about it”.  That is, it is well known that cigarette smoking is linked to cancer; smoking is also linked to diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and lung disease.  However, there is another smoking trend taking place that appears not to have any verifiable side effects – Marijuana Smoking.

Here are 3 things to think about:

  1. More countries are starting to legalize/de-criminalize marijuana smoking. Accordingly, more people are using it.
  2. Few credible sources are coming out definitively against pot smoking. Many claim that there is NOT enough data to support negative claims.
  3. Fewer individuals are thinking critically. A growing number of people are developing the smoking habit, yet fewer seem to think the habit will yield a negative dividend.  (Smokers do not appear to think there will be a consequence to smoking.)

By the time definitive data rolls in, it may be too late for most smokers to turn tail.  The deleterious effects of smoking will have already taken root.  The end result…increased medical treatment!

Can you see an opportunity blooming?  Or, did I miss the mark? (Is there a flaw in my thinking?)
